Shirley McKague

Shirley J. McKague (born June 12, 1935) is a Republican member of the Idaho Senate, representing the 20th District (Meridian) since 2007. She received a Diploma at Nampa High School in 1953.^{[1] [2]}

Early life and career

Shirley J. McKague was born in Nampa, ID in 1935 and raised in Meridian, ID. Mrs. McKague is married to her husband Paul and is the mother of six. Before entering politics, Mrs. McKague was a:

• Secretary, Idaho State House, 1986–1996
• Columnist, Valley Times, 1980–1982
• Business Partner/Book Keeper, Family Service Station, 1969–1996
• Legal Secretary, Carey Nixon, Esquire, 1963–1970
• Stenographer, Idaho Public Utilities Commission, 1960–1963

Senator McKague was elected in 2007 to represent Idaho's 20th Legislative District which encompasses Meridian. ^[3]

Before her appointment to a vacancy in the Senate in 2007, Mrs. McKague's political resume shows that she was:
